Blycolin takes over laundry Vadotex

Laundry facility Vadotex in Spijkenisse near Rotterdam has been a specialist in washing hospitality laundry since 1980. Blycolin and Vadotex have been working together for many years. Now that owner Ger Spaaij has different plans for his own future, Blycolin is taking over the company. 

A partner in hospitality linen for almost half a century, Blycolin is especially proud of the takeover, that was effected last February 1st. “Mr. Spaaij has always managed Vadotex very well and with inspiration”, says Marc van Boekholt, CEO of Blycolin. “Under his management, the company has delivered excellent quality all those years. Vadotex was also very loyal to Blycolin and can rightfully be called a partner laundry. Together, we have chosen to make Vadotex a part of Blycolin now that Mr. Spaaij has decided to stop. Of course, all employees will enter into our service.”

Take over fits within growth strategy

The takeover of Vadotex fits within Blycolin’s strategy to expand its own laundry capacity. Marc van Boekholt: “This our seventh own laundry, with a washing capacity of 80,000 kilos a week. The laundry will continue under the name Blycolin Laundry Spijkenisse. The laundry is comparable to many of our other laundries and fits perfectly in our portfolio.”
